The AI Hub is a centralised platform built through the collective contributions and collaborative efforts of the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC), the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and the Library (LIB). It serves as a testament to the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong’s (HSUHK) ongoing commitment to digital excellence and its proactive approach to embracing transformative technologies.

Promotion of Digital Literacy and Critical Thinking

We will emphasise the importance of digital literacy and critical thinking to navigate the complexities of a world where Generative AI is prevalent.

Advocacy for Transparency and Attribution

HSUHK actively advocates for transparency and proper attribution in the use of Generative AI, ensuring our community understands how these tools operate and can be employed ethically.

Provision of Resources and Support

ITSC, CTL, and LIB will provide resources, training, and support for all staff and students to facilitate the effective implementation of AI in their work and studies.

Cultivation of Ethical Awareness

We are committed to extending knowledge about the ethical considerations and limitations of AI through dedicated training sessions, reading materials, and formal modules.
